What hardener ratio should I use with two-component PU adhesive?
Typical polyisocyanate hardener ratio is 5–6% by weight of the main glue for water-based PU (e.g. Marichemix 610 + R768 at 5–6%), and 3–5% for solvent-based PU. Always follow the specific product TDS — over-dosing causes brittleness and yellowing; under-dosing causes weak crosslinking and heat-resistance failure. Mixed glue should be used within the recommended pot life (commonly 4–8 hours) and not topped up after that window.
